4 Ways To Remember That #YouAreTheView

1. Never compare yourself to others

It’s true when they say that comparison is the thief of joy. If you constantly compared yourself and your life to others, you wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate all of the amazing and brilliant things going on around you, because of you! If you sat and wrote down a list of everything that you have achieved at the end of each day, both big and small, rather than comparing your day to everyone else’s, you would realise that you have so much to be proud of because you ARE amazing, and #YouAreTheView.

2. Remind yourself of your amazing qualities

Always keep your most wonderful qualities at the forefront of your mind. Whether this be your best talent, your greatest achievement, anything! Never lose sight of those brilliant qualities, they are what make you, you, so embrace every single one of them.

3. Only look back to see how much you’ve grown

Looking back to dwell on things is pointless, as forwards is the only option. However, when you need a little pick me up, sit and think about what you have achieved and overcome in the past, and how much you have grown from those experiences. You will soon feel amazing when you realise just how far you’ve come.

4. Celebrate the little things

Didn’t sleep through your alarm today? Celebrate it. Did a work out today? Celebrate it. Made it through another manic Monday? Celebrate it. Celebrate everything no matter how big or small. By celebrate, we don’t mean pop open a bottle of champagne every time you do anything similar to the above, but just consciously take a moment to enjoy the small wins as well as the big ones. You will start to realise that you are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.
